Robert Hamilton: Engineering Precision and Project Mastery
Robert completed his Civil Engineering degree in 1999 and quickly ascended the ranks in tier 1 and tier 2 contracting firms. His career progression saw him excel in various capacities, including Site Engineer, Contracts Manager, Project Manager, and Construction Manager. This diverse background allowed him to oversee a wide array of significant projects, from multi-storey offices and luxury apartments to intricate education, health, and retail developments, some valued up to $70 million.
Robert holds Domestic and Commercial Construction licences from the Victorian Building Authority and has been honoured with numerous awards from the Master Builders Association of Victoria for his outstanding contributions. Since launching his own company in 2011, which eventually evolved into Hamilton Bardin, Robert has successfully managed bespoke residential builds, commercial fit-outs, and his own apartment developments. His client-focused approach guarantees that expectations are not just met, but exceeded, with an eagle eye for quality outcomes and always prioritising the client's best interests.
Lucas Bardin: Craftsmanship and Site Management Expertise
Lucas embarked on his building career in 1997 as an Apprentice, gaining invaluable experience with one of Australia's largest construction companies. His formative years were spent on the $30 million renovation of Melbourne's Grand Hotel, a complex conversion of a historic railway administration office into a luxury hotel and serviced apartments, including high-end penthouses. This unique project provided Lucas with exposure to specialist trades suchmen as solid plastering and stonemasonry, sparking his interest in luxury construction.
Over the next decade, Lucas's career flourished as he progressed to Foreman and then Site Manager on large-scale Melbourne projects. His portfolio spans luxury apartments in Hawthorn to hospitals and schools, broadening his knowledge in commercial construction and technical areas like sterile environments and complex service infrastructure. Lucas's collaborative work with clients, project managers, architects, and engineers has honed his ability to understand diverse requirements and develop robust methodologies and quality systems. His extensive trade experience, coupled with a strong site management background and a focus on client satisfaction, positions him as an industry leader in large-scale and luxury design and build projects.
